Bourjois Colorband Eyeshadow Sticks

I am yet again obsessed with another Bourjois product. This time it's the Colorband Eyeshadow and Liner Sticks. There are six shades to choose from and I currently have two. The first is 05 Mauve Baroque which is a lovely lilac purple shade and 02 Brun Dadaiste a lovely golden, bronzey brown shade.

Eyeshadow sticks are all over the place at the moment and I seem to be gathering quite a collection. Plus the reason I love these eyeshadow sticks so much is the fact that they are just so damn easy to use. With a really creamy consistency they go on the eyes effortlessly and blend brilliantly. Also there's no crease on the lids which I love as I work long hours and usually my eyeshadow is the first to start looking a little ropey. Plus they last for 24 hours well that's what they state. I haven't yet put that to the test but I'm happy with how long I can wear them.
You can really build a lovely look on the eyes, I like to cover the whole lid with my chosen shade and blend it out with my finger. For a smokey look I'll start with all over the lid coverage and then I'll go back in the crease and start building up the colour then I'll blend, blend, blend until I'm happy.
One thing I'd love to change about these those are that I wish they had a twist system to them because once you use them that's it you have to buy another.

Have you tried these yet?

Thanks Guys
Love Hayley

  1. Always been a bit sceptical over eyeshadow pencils but might give them a try especially if they are quite creamy. I think my main concern was that they would be quite drying but i'm intrigued. Plus saves using a brush so they'd be great for work day use :)
