Brand Review | The Body Shops Drops Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask

The Body Shop is not a shop I always go into but the other day I decided to pop in for a little browse. Whilst in store I found this lovely little thing. The Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask.
I had read so many reviews on this I had to try it out for myself to see if all the hype was worth it.
Well yes that hype is indeed worth it, it is amazing! It's pricey though £22, but I have been using it for over two weeks now and it doesn't even look like I have touched it, so I think I'll have it for ages.

So what does it do? And what is a sleeping mask?
Well it is a smoothing and refreshing mask that you leave on over night to gradually absorb into the skin, it contains Edelweiss stem cells which are great for anti ageing. This mask can be used just before bed or you can pop it on for a bit of relaxation in the evenings. I like to pop mine on a bit before bed so it can absorb in a bit before I lay my head on the pillow and rub it all off.

So what results have I seen so far if any?
My skin doesn't seem as dehydrated (found out I have dehydrated skin thanks to Sali Hughes' fab book Pretty Honest) in the mornings and the general appearance of my skin seems more bright. I love the texture of the mask and the smell is really subtle so my boyfriend doesn't mind it either. It comes with a little spatula to use too and I would definitely recommend using this. It's quite slippery on your hands if you don't.

Have you tried it yet? What are your thoughts?

Thanks Guys
Love Hayley

  1. I really want to try this and give it a go, I did think it is pricey but if it will last ages then it sounds like it is worth the investment! I sleep on my front and worry it will all just come off but if I was to buy it, I would put it on a bit before I sleep like you so it has a chance to sink in :) great review
