Blogging - Six Months In

It's funny I sort of just stumbled into Blogging. I first had a Tumblr Blog, then a Wordpress Blog but finally settled on a Blogger Blog.

My Tumblr blog is still live but the Wordpress blog never really took off. The Blogger site is just great and for me a person who is rubbish with anything technical, (I once deleted a whole computer memory because I hovered it over a huge magnet! Ooops.) its perfect, plus there's an App for my phone which I find so helpful in writing my posts. I sometimes even write on the bus to work.

I used to write short stories as a kid and even got an award for a story called the talking trees when I was 9, but as I grew up I just stopped writing, got a job in retail and just got on with life not thinking about those stories I wrote as a kid. I don't know why I stopped writing and where my love of blogs actually came from but I'm glad I'm back writing and blogging is fast becoming my life.
I currently post five times a week, about beauty, food and life with a mascara addiction added to the mix. I am finding blogging is becoming my life, its all I seem to think about and I have real ambitions for my blog in the future.

I think having the support of my boyfriend is a massive help in allowing my blogging dreams and ambitions to flourish. Anthony (my boyfriend) has been so amazing throughout the past six months staying up late with me while I finish writing a post or helping take a few pictures for me. He's even made a feature on my Youtube channel. Watch the video here.

Around about the time I moved in with Anthony (about six months ago), I started blogging a lot more regularly and tried taking things up a notch.

Firstly I posted every three days, then everyday, but this got too much as I still have a full time job in retail so now I post everyday Monday - Friday. This schedule is working out pretty well for me currently.

I usually get two days off each week from work so try to write up all my posts on the first day then I can relax on the next day I have off.

I'm not going to lie some days I really can't be bothered writing and some days I can't stop writing. It has been a real roller-coaster. I've gone from 1 follower on Bloglovin' to 116 followers. I get my tweets favourited every day now too. I have also found so many friends through my Blog and found out quite a bit about myself along the way too.

I love to write, I love to share my opinions and I love my life now.

Bring on six more months and more I say..

Thanks Guys
Love Hayley
